Aylin Sener is a Managing Partner of Orbis Vista, responsible for foreign affairs and clients in all areas of obtaining and enforcing IP rights. She has a strong background of technical knowledge in patent, trademark, and industrial design and plant breeders’ rights and also in developing internal tracking systems. She is also an officially registered Turkish Patent and Trademark Attorney.
She entered the IP branch in 2004 and gained a strong technical and business background.
Focusing her expertise as an IP practitioner on industrial designs with responsibility for the registration and protection processes by the Design Department, she continued as Business Development Project Manager in Purchasing and Sales with responsibility for organizing relations with foreign suppliers, clients and international patent offices. Also conducting a business development project to minimize the purchasing expenses and increase foreign sales with detailed monitoring systems. She continued with an internal job rotation in the Trademark Branch of Overseas Department for protection of foreign trademarks in Turkey, following their registration processes from application to approval.
Aylin is bundling her national and international experiences in IP Law gained from prestigious international clients and their projects and is specialized in trademark and patent matters by applying her experiences in enforcing registered and unregistered trademark, patent and design rights across the world under the roof of Orbis Vista by offering solutions with a premium IP consultancy.
She has graduated from the Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of the Uludag University. She specialized in “Flexibility of Working Hours and Its Effects on the Labour Force and Trade Unions” as an unpublished dissertation. She also composes articles in the Magazine of Tarım Türk on Plant Breeder’s Rights in Turkey.
She has published dozens of articles on Turkish IP systems in several newspapers and magazines and has attended several seminars as a speaker. She was born in Bulgaria and maintains her Bulgarian nationality.
She speaks Turkish, English and Bulgarian.
